My Paola Reina dolls

Paola Reina have a huge range of different dolls, that are 100% made in spain. In 2014 I feel in love with their Las Amigas line. They are 13 inch/23 cm tall with child like proportions, rooted hair, inset eyes and a sweet vanilla scent.

Bought her: August 2014

I saw her in the window of a Danish store, when my boyfriend and I walked by. I recognized her immediately, since I had recently looked at some Paola Reina dolls online. We went in the store to see what they had, I showed my boyfriend this cristi (the same that was on display in the window)  because I wanted him to see her beautifull freckles. We didnt stay long in the store, because we were on our way to visit some family for the weekend. During the weekend I thought alot about thesed olls, and I looked at them online. In  the end I was totally in love with them. So as soon as we got back from the vist, I went to the store and bought this doll.

I liked her and wanted her, since I saw her promo picture for the first time. But when I saw her in the danish store, I didn't know what to think. Because in her promo picture she had short bangs, and the doll in the store didn't. But after looking at more pictures of her, I thought she looked quite pretty without bangs, And Emmas bangs have been bothering me a little. I went to the store again, with the intension of buying her. But since I knew they had more dolls I liked, I were not sure she would be the one to come home with me. Another thing that made me unsure, were that Paola Reina had made Nora with an new face mould. The new face mould is more unique. But when I saw her in the store, there was no doubht that I would bring her home. I am so happy I got her

I really wanted another Cristi, but with green eyes instead of blue. I thought she could be my first Cristis sister, but they should still look different. So I was looking for a girl with straight her instead of wavy, and with no bangs. I feel in love with this girl, she was just what I was looking for. But getting her was a bit of a struggle. I knew they didnt have her in the danish store, I asked them if they could order her for me but they couldent. then I ordered her from an english opnline store, but she was aparently out of stock. I had allmost given up hope, when I found her used on ebay at a great price.

It took me a long time to figure out, which of the blonde Paola Reaina dolls to buy. I had seen a version of the blue eyed blonde, with a short bob. I liked the short hairstyle. I allso really liked the blonde with hazel eyes, freckles and wavy hair with bangs. I was interrested in both of these dolls, but I only wanted one blonde girl for my Paola Reina collection. But then I looked at an European online store, and found the right doll. It was a version of the hazel eyed blonde, with the short hairstyle. Her body is a bit different than my other dolls, but i think she looks great in my collection.
