Barbie fashion packs review - part 3

Part 3 of my general review of barbie fashion packs.

Here is Part one  and part two 

This part is about the Ken single fashion that I have bought. I currently have 4 outfits, and I hope to get more.

Lets take a look at the first Ken fashion that I bought

This outfit looked like it would be perfect for, the outdoor guy I wanted my first Jake to be. I really liked the hiking boots, cargo shorts and that the shirt had a pretty landscape on it. I didnt care at all about the shade thingy because I know it wouldent fit, even if it did I probably wouldent use it.

John looks ready to go  for an hike or explore nature in this outfit - I really like it.

Johns shorts have an camouflage ipattern, but there are allso shells and starfish in the pattern. 

The pockets on the side of the shorts do open, but they are too narrow to be usefull.

The print on the shirt, makes me think about mountains and sunsets. I really like this effect.

The mountain sunset print, is not on the back. But I got a feeling its a a shirt where its only suppose to be on the front, so it dosent bother me. The pattern on the short continue onto the back and im verry happy about that. 

The shoes are a pair of detailed hiking boots - love them. She one thing I think is missing is paint on the shoelases

This is my absolute favorite Ken outfit.

Now lets look at the second ken outfit I bought for John

I chose this outfit, to be an everyday school outfit for John. I mostley chose it because of the shirt and the shoes.

Im not really sure about this, something dosent ,ook quite right to me - maybe its the shorts. 

To me these shorts mostley look like swimming trunks. as everyday short they just dont do it for me at all and I havent used them verry much. 

I like how warm this shirt looks. I allso like the creative pattern on it, and that the "background" is multi colored. But I dont like that Kens name is there. Im not into having my dolls, wearing clothes with names on. I generally dont like text on doll clothes, because I often fell like the text is saying "hey im a doll". 

The pattern on the shirt isint on the back, but its still multi colored which is great. I gota feeling that its a shirt where the pattern is only suppose to be on the front, so it dosent bother me that its plain on the back. The pattern on the short goes around to the back.

I actually started painting on one of thse shoes, before I remembered to take a picture - sorry about that. 

I started apinting them because my boyfriend said they looked like rain boots, and I realized he was right - they really needed some painted details. I started painting the shoelaces, and I think that made an huge difference. 

Its not peferct but here are the both shoes with painted shoelaces. Kens name is on both shoes, which annoy me. Thankfully it isint too obvious.

The sunglasses dont fit my doll, since kens head is much smaller. Even if they fitted, I probably wouldent use them. I dont like the tought or coll look, you get when wearing sunglasse so most often my dolls will do without. To me sunglasses has no use, if they cant protect my eyes from the sun properly.

konklusion

I like this outfit but I dont use the short verry much, I dont use the glasses at all and the shoes needeed more painted details on them. Im mostley happy about the shirt. 

Next is the outfit I bought for Leonard

I chose this outfit because I really liked the shirt and colorfull pants. I hoped it would suit, my nerdy chracter Leonard.

To me this outfit looks casual, yet a little bit preppy - I really like that.

This shirt is verry detailed with a chest pocket, rolled up sleves, fake buttoms and a collor. I allso really like that it has a checkered pattern instead of being plain.

These pants have a white stained pattern and i think it ,looks verry good. They are high waisted, and a bit loose but they still stay where they are suppose to. Theý are allso a litlle too long on my liv doll, but its nothing that bothers me at alll. 

This outfit allso looks verry good, from the back. Both the pattern on the shirt and the pants goes all the way around and this makes me verry happy. 

The shoes are sophisticated nd casual - I like the molded and painted details on them.

This watch is probably, my favorite accessory. I like watches, and this one is verry detailed. But I think it might need a little bit of paint to highlight some of these molded detail. 

konklusion

Im verry happy about this outfit, its my second favorite. Its verry detailed and I think it could be great for mix and match.

Now its the last outfit

I chose this outfiy beacuse I thought it would suit my guy Matt. Its sporty and the shirt is yellow so its just his style.

The shirt and shorts looks good together, but I think the sandals ruins it a bit. Maybe a pair of white or yellow sneakers would match better. 

The shirt has a nice pattern and I like the yellow color. 

On the back you can see the hood, which has the pattern on it. But the rest of the shirt does not have the pattern on the back. I got the impression that the pattern, was something that was suppose to go all the way around. I was dissapointed to see that its blank. 

The shorts are a little bit boring, with their grey pattern. And I allso think thse looks like swimming trunks. They have a yellow seam, and they do look good with the shirt. But I kinda fell like they cant be used with annything else but this shirt.

*sight* these sandals. Im sorry but to me, they looks like gay hippi sandals. I just really dont like these, and as I said above I wiah they were  sneakers

I dislike thse "sunglasses" more than I dislike the sandals.

konklusion

I was kinda dissapointed with this outfit, I like the shirt the best but even that is missing something. I mostley wish it came with better shoes. 

Overall I have been more happy about the Ken outfit than with my barbie fashion packs. But I do feel like the Ken outfits didnt need to come with accessories.
